    Get NeoForge 1.21.1

    Install NeoForge loader (21.1.228) from neoforged.net. Vanilla launcher works — pick the NeoForge profile.

    Install client mods (optional but recommended)

    Distant Horizons, Sodium, Iris, and JEI are client-side. Without them you can still play, but the world looks vanilla-distance.
